D* Local Channels question

Ok I have regular cable now through Charter and I live in Parkersburg WV which is an hour north of Charleston. Parkersburg has a local NBC station which D* doesnt offer but I could easily get it via antenna. There is also another NBC station I get through cable and its in Charlestion, and my other ABC,CBS and Fox are all based out of Charleston which I get though Charter.

My question is.... when on D*'s website seeing if they have my local channels(Parkersburg zip), they say they have none. When I put in a Charleston zip they say they offer all the local networks (the same ones I get through Charter)

So will D* be able to give me the Charleston network stations that Ive always had in Parkersburg?

You will probably have to get waivers to receive the networks...there is no harm in calling them and speaking to a rep. If the answer was yes, werent you going to get it anyway? If the answer is no, the you know either way.

I'm not positive, but this is what works with me. Whatever shows up when you put your zip in http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/LocalChannelsAction.do is what they can give you, or else you need an antenna or may qualify for DNS which I think means you get the East and West coast feeds of the main local channels. This is the site for DNS eligibility http://directvdnseligibility.decisi...ddressEntry.asp but I think the government is making changes to DNS eligibility and their site will show these in early 05 http://www.directv.com/see/landing/dns.html
