Painless TheaterTek Upgrade From Ver 1.2 To 1.5?

I have TT ver 1.2 installed and working fine. I want to upgrade to ver 1.5. In reading the TheaterTek support forum this is apparently a tough upgrade. Is there a painless way to do this upgrade?

My OS is Windows XP, video card is Radeon LE/7200, audio card is Auiophile 2496.
